Flight Controls

Flight controls are the primary means by which a pilot controls the direction and attitude of an aircraft in flight. These controls include the ailerons, elevator, and rudder, which are used to control roll, pitch, and yaw, respectively. The ailerons are located on the trailing edge of the wings and are used to control the roll of the aircraft. The elevator is located on the tail of the aircraft and is used to control the pitch of the aircraft. The rudder is also located on the tail of the aircraft and is used to control the yaw of the aircraft. In addition to these primary flight controls, some aircraft may also have secondary controls such as flaps, spoilers, and trim tabs, which are used to adjust the lift, drag, and stability of the aircraft.
