Climb Rate

Climb rate is the rate at which an aircraft can climb vertically in a given amount of time. It is usually measured in feet per minute (fpm) or meters per minute (mpm). The climb rate of an aircraft is affected by various factors such as weight, temperature, altitude, and weather conditions. A high climb rate is desirable for aircraft as it allows them to quickly gain altitude and reach their cruising altitude. However, a high climb rate also requires more power and fuel, which can affect the aircraft's range and endurance.
